March 2021: Nexindep becomes Nexoris. Olivier Le Coquil and Emmanuel Mahe, the leaders of Nexoris, share why.
First, can you tell us about Nexindep?
We founded Nexindep more than 10 years ago. The original goal was to build a community of independent consultants and help them land assignments with Key Accounts. Very quickly, several clients who enjoyed working with us asked whether we could also handle other consultants on their behalf. That's how our second business line, Payroll Management Services, took off.
In 2016 we set up an umbrella company as well, to round out the range of services we offered to independent consultants.
Then, four years ago, we launched a platform for independent consultants, which is now a benchmark in the financial sector with more than 1,000 listed consultants.
By early 2021, our group is approved by around fifteen Key Accounts, we have sourced or managed more than 1,000 assignments, and our umbrella employment business, certified zero-hidden-fees, has enabled several hundred consultants to deliver assignments at Key Accounts or with IT Services Companies and Consulting firms.
The original idea of building a community of independent experts has gradually evolved, and today it lets us offer a much broader ecosystem of services to Key Accounts, Consulting firms, IT Services Companies and independent consultants.
Why change the name now?
Serving independent professionals is still our DNA, and we'll keep stepping up our commercial efforts to support them and showcase them to a broader client base, well beyond the financial sector where we got our start. That said, our offer also resonates with our IT Services Company and Consulting firm partners. While these partners regularly work with us to source independent professionals or to find assignment opportunities for their bench resources, they mostly turn to us for Payroll Management Services.
Our offering has therefore grown well beyond independent professional networks, and adopting a new identity to support our growth was the natural next step.
What does the name "Nexoris" mean?
"Nex" evokes the network, while "oris" stands for gold, the nugget... talent. That fits Nexoris's mission perfectly: helping our clients work with the best skills available, whatever the consultant's status. We are a "talent connector"!
And what are your ambitions?
Our clients and partners already see us as a trusted intermediary. We act with transparency and cultivate close client relationships, in contrast to fully platform-based models. With Nexoris, we mark a new milestone: bringing greater visibility to our partner community, united around the same values of commitment and quality. Our ambition is to become the leading trusted community supporting the business and IT transformation projects of Key Accounts, Consulting firms and IT Services Companies.
